The NTC Awards is a recognition and celebration of the Nashville tech community’s brightest leaders. If you’ve previously attended, you know that the energy in the room is exciting! 2022 marks the return of the in-person Awards for everyone since 2020 and we can’t wait to roll out the red carpet.
The increase in COVID-19 cases poses challenges and in order to host the Awards confidently in person, the NTC has updated and will enforce its COVID-19 protocols for the 2022 NTC Awards. We want to provide ample time to prepare before the kickoff of the show at the Wildhorse Saloon on February 17, 2022. The below policies are in effect for all attending the NTC Awards, as supported by the CDC and testing companies:
- The NTC will require proof of vaccination (printed or digital) OR proof of negative COVID-19 test (printed or digital) within 48 hours of the event on February 17, 2022. Negative tests can include PCR tests, administered by healthcare professionals prior to the event or rapid, at-home antigen tests performed within 48 hours of the event. We acknowledge the supply shortages of at-home tests and are providing this buffer time for attendees to procure tests and prepare accordingly.
- Attendees and employees are encouraged to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status when not eating or drinking. Masks will be available for any guests that request them.
- The NTC will continue to monitor conditions on a regular basis and will update policies accordingly.
We’re enacting this policy to help us keep the 2022 NTC Awards at full capacity, available to all in-person, and to keep you and our staff healthy. The NTC relies on the success of our programming to be sustainable. With your help, we will ensure a successful and fun 2022 NTC Awards celebration for all to attend. We can’t wait to see you there!
