To provide guidance for Nashville user groups and a well of resources and skills to serve them.
Goals
To support the creative tech community represented by various meetups and user groups and to help solve their common challenges.
Objectives
- Identify common pressure points across the tech community group landscape
- Create a speakers bureau to recommend qualified speaking talent to tech community group leaders. Click here to offer your speaking talents. Click here to search for speaking talent for your next meeting. (Coming Soon)
- Establish a joint food and beverage fund for group leaders to access based on the size of their group
- Offer on-going tech community group leader training sessions where best practices can be shared
- Connect like-minded tech community groups with each other, potential employers, and common resources
- Provide consistent and low/no-cost meeting space at Tech Hill Commons for as many tech community groups as possible
