from: Meharry SACS announces four new master’s degree programs
Artificial intelligence, machine learning and new, data-driven technologies will fuel innovations that solve society’s most challenging problems.
Meharry SACS has responded to this need by adding four new master’s degrees to its graduate program offerings. The school now offers programs in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, computer science, and cybersecurity assurance. Classes for each program, just like the data science courses, will be held online, and in the evening. Applications are open for a Fall 2025 start date.
“Now with eight graduate degree programs, we are much better prepared to empower students to face future challenges in healthcare, drug discovery, technology and businesses in nearly any industry,” says Dean Fortune S. Mhlanga, Ph.D.
The school’s faculty are engaged in these disciplines by developing novel, solutions to securely apply AI to clinical data, using advanced AI methods to discover new treatments for existing drugs, pursuing trustworthy AI in medical systems, and related research.
