Now available in the Allscripts® Application Store, new Bridge Connector app enables automated, bi-directional patient data exchange that promotes interoperability, streamlines workflows and minimizes administrative burden

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 11, 2020) – Bridge Connector, a technology company offering data-driven workflow automation to solve health IT interoperability challenges, today announced its integrated application is now available in the Allscripts Application Store (https://store.allscripts.com/applications/id-19004/Bridge_Connector) for Allscripts Practice Management (PM) users. The application supports the bi-directional exchange of patient demographic information between Allscripts PM and any other data system of choice, simplifying patient creation and reducing dual data entry by seamlessly and automatically syncing data between another PM system, a CRM, or a digital health application.

Bridge Connector has existing, pre-certified integrations with Allscripts PM in its library of connectors and proprietary technology, which accelerate implementation and go-live timelines for Bridge Connector customers. The solution offered to Allscripts PM clients has bundled together these packages of Bridge Connector integrations, enabling Allscripts PM users to more easily achieve streamlined integrations across disparate patient data systems. For Allscripts PM customers, this means that when users add new patients or update patient data in one system of choice, that data will automatically update in Allscripts PM and any other connected systems, minimizing administrative workload and maintaining accurate, comprehensive information across data systems.

“Adding Bridge Connector’s integration solution to the Allscripts Application Store will make integrations more accessible and deployable quicker for Allscripts PM users,” said Matt Wimberley, vice president of product at Bridge Connector. “Every Bridge Connector integration saves time, money and administrative effort while creating a more unified view of the patient journey. We are changing the way healthcare communicates, one partnership at a time, and this is a pivotal relationship with Allscripts in advancing our mission to support improved health outcomes in care delivery and clinical results.”

“Allscripts is excited about partnering with Bridge Connector, and we look forward to supporting their integration application through the Allscripts Developer Program,” says Tina Joros, vice president and general manager Open and Allscripts Practice Financial Platform.

Bridge Connector fully manages integrations for its customers, executing and maintaining data integrations as many providers and digital health organizations do not have the necessary internal technical resources to execute and maintain integrations. With the new partnership, Allscripts PM users can have access to an end-to-end integration solution, requiring no additional lift from their internal teams.

“Bridge Connector is excited to provide Allscripts users the ability to seamlessly connect their Allscripts platform to a variety of patient engagement and management solutions,” said Wimberley. “These integrations allow practices to more efficiently manage intake and ongoing communications with patients which saves time and money while increasing patient and staff satisfaction.”

In addition to making its integration solution available via the Allscripts Application Store, Bridge Connector has been offering rapid deployment system integrations for COVID-19 use cases free of charge. The COVID-19 pandemic has sharpened the health care industry’s focus on interoperability, especially in relation to managing patient populations during a pandemic. Integration solutions will play an instrumental role in improving workflows for providers experiencing a surge in patient volume.

The Allscripts Developer Program (http://developer.allscripts.com/) (ADP) offers both proprietary and FHIR® enabled APIs to connect third-party applications, devices and other innovative healthcare technologies with Allscripts products. Health IT developers can create a free account at https://developer.allscripts.com (https://developer.allscripts.com/) to access the Allscripts Open APIs and start building or connecting new innovations for Allscripts users.
