NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When the Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) convenes its National Summit later this month in Nashville, the regional economic development organization will play host to an outstanding lineup of notable speakers and hundreds of top science and technology leaders and policymakers from across the Tennessee Valley region and the nation.

Confirmed speakers at the 2024 TVC National Summit include U.S. Senators Bill Hagerty (TN) and Marsha Blackburn (TN); Congressmen Mark Green (TN-6) and Chuck Fleischmann (TN-3; Chancellor Daniel Diermeier, Vanderbilt University; Randy Boyd, President of The University of Tennessee; Joseph Pelfrey, Director of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center; Dr. Stephen Streiffer, Director, Oak Ridge National Laboratory; Don Moul, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at TVA; Major General Brett Sylvia, Commanding General 101st Airborne Division & Fort Campbell; Commissioner Stuart McWhorter, Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, and many other leaders from a variety of federal agencies, research universities and technology companies in the region.

The TVC’s annual National Summit is a two-day event designed to share information and advance collaboration between the region’s top federal assets and key educational institutions, local chambers and civic organizations, businesses, and political leaders. Representing thirteen congressional districts working together across five states in the Tennessee Valley region, the award-winning TVC regional economic development group has worked for nearly 30 years to advance important federal missions and expand federal investments in the Corridor and to leverage those investments for more private sector job opportunities across the region.
