Tim Martin to take on Chief Innovation and Products Officer role at Learning Technologies Group (LTG)

Franklin, TN- June 1, 2018

Rustici Software, the global experts in eLearning standards, announced today that TJ Seabrooks will step into the role of CEO, replacing co-founder and CEO Tim Martin. Martin will be moving into a new role as CIPO for the parent company Learning Technologies Group.

Seabrooks joined Rustici Software in 2011 and in that time, has served in various roles from software development to technical sales and most recently Director of Products where he led the technical teams and product for the past four years. Prior to joining Rustici Software, Seabrooks received his M.S. in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University and worked as Software Engineer at Toshiba of America.

“TJ’s ‘finest moment’ at Rustici Software, or the one that ultimately set him along this path, came years ago when we all sat around the ping pong table and established that someone had to take on the challenging role of supporting our customers technically. This is a counterintuitive move for many developers who prefer to build things rather than fix bugs and talk to people. TJ has been solving problems and fixing things since.”

-Tim Martin, CIPO, LTG Plc, formerly CEO, Rustici Software

In his new role as CIPO for LTG, Martin will focus his attention and expertise on the product-centric companies within the LTG family, providing direction and insight to the various technical, sales, and product teams within each company.

Rustici Software, co-founded by Martin and Mike Rustici in 2002 was acquired by LTG in 2016. Mike Rustici departed at that time to lead Watershed LRS, of which LTG is an investor.
