NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Quore, the leading innovator of hotel management software, recently marked its fifth anniversary by surpassing several major milestones. In addition to doubling its active users to more than 60,000 in one year at 2,100 hotels and welcoming 25 new employees in four months, Quore will soon launch a new housekeeping feature and is laying the groundwork for an international expansion. Poised for further growth on all fronts, the company’s original mission remains the same: to relentlessly innovate and inspire others to do the same in the name of guest satisfaction.
While working as an engineer at a Nashville-area hotel, Quore’s founder, Scott Schaedle, was inspired to create a product that transformed the way hotel teams communicate. After searching for a solution to replace handheld radios and paper tickets with mobile devices and coming up empty, Schaedle decided to build it himself. The result was Quore, the first mobile solution for hotel operations.
“Many Quore employees come from the hotel industry, so they have a keen understanding of the day-to-day challenges experienced by hotel staff,” said Scott Schaedle, founder and president of Quore. “To meet their needs, it remains critical for Quore to be intuitive for the end user, but also cost-effective and powerful for general managers.”
Just three months after launching, Schaedle reached his first five-year goal: for a hotel management company to select Quore as its operations platform. Quore, the Italian word for heart, quickly became the centralized solution for dozens of hotel groups and individual properties. Through automated reports, personalized dashboards and real-time data, the cloud-based platform allows hotel staff to manage all aspects of their jobs through one place on any device.
One of Quore’s first customers, Mark Frentz, is the director of training and development at more than 70 InterMountain Management properties and found Quore when he was seeking a solution to replace the hospitality software his teams were using. “With our old software solution, we had an adoption problem,” said Frentz. “When we started using Quore, we were immediately blown away by its capabilities and user-friendliness. New hires say that it feels familiar to them – that’s how intuitive it is.”
In its first five years, Schaedle focused on developing a high-quality product and acquiring new partnerships while scaling rapidly. Today, Quore has more than 60,000 active users at more than 2,100 hotels. The company recently increased its internal staff by 45 percent to support Schaedle’s strategic vision for Quore, which includes an international expansion and new features and partnerships.
