This week, Nashville’s c3/consulting announced it would be moving its headquarters to larger facilities, just a couple blocks from it’s current home in Barry Hill.  We asked Beth Chase, CEO at c3, more about the details of their exciting move:

NTC’s Q: For those who don’t know, what is c3 and what services does it offer?

Beth’s Ac3/consulting is a management consulting firm dedicated the people responsible for making change happen. From strategic planning through execution, c3 delivers lasting impact. Services include: Strategic Planning, Program Leadership, Change Leadership, Merger/Acquisition Integration, Business Process Optimization, Solution Evaluation, Organizational Effectiveness, and Facilitation. c3 advises leadership teams in a variety of industries including: healthcare, financial services, banking, insurance, technology, and corporate services.

Q: What is “the engine?”

Ac3/consulting’s the engine is a creative space for teams to gather, dream, plan and grow. Located just south of downtown Nashville, the engine is a convenient facility for area businesses and community organizations. Our collaboration center is designed to accommodate groups from 10 to 100+ (new space will accommodate 200+) in a professional, comfortable environment and is specifically configured for group decision-making. The space is equipped for strategic planning sessions, training, board meetings, creative problem-solving, ideation sessions and team receptions.

Q: c3 has been in Berry Hill for a short time, how have things changed in the area?

A: c3 has been in Berry Hill since August 2011. Over the last 5 years, the area has experience significant growth. We’ve benefitted from new restaurants, some great beer (Black Abbey), and new retail in the area.

Q: How have the needs of your clients enabled you to grow your offerings?

AAbsolutely! The pace of change is more rapid and the complexity of the change is greater. Our clients proactively attack that change and engage our team to assist them in expanding their capacity and to creatively solve their wicked challenges. Over the last few years, we have expanded our services and expertise to meet their needs. We look forward to continued change ahead.

Q: Have new locally based technologies or services enabled c3’s growth?

AThe growth of tech firms in Nashville has been great for our community and great for c3. We have had the pleasure of working with a number of these organizations who are developing and delivering innovative, exciting solutions across all industries.

Q: How does this move enable you to serve your existing and growing base clients?

AThis new space will enable us to have space for our growing team while also providing a unique, creative, collaborative place for our current and new clients (in and outside of Nashville) to meet to align their teams, plan for the future, creatively solve problems, and drive complex change.

Q:  Your new space is 20,000 sq. ft. with an additional 10,000 left unoccupied.  Any hopes for that extra space?

AInitially we will be subleasing the 10,000 sq.ft. but expect that our future growth plans may require us to leverage it for c3.

Thanks to Beth Chase for taking the time to tell us more about c3/consulting’s exciting move!
