Nashville, TN – October 24, 2024 – The Greater Nashville Technology Council (NTC) today announced that Elise Cambournac will be stepping down as CEO effective December 31, 2024.

Members of NTC leadership credit Cambournac for making significant contributions to the Nashville technology ecosystem and helping to elevate the organization as a key player in workforce development, community engagement, and industry advocacy.

“It has been an honor to serve as the leader of the NTC and to support the growth of our tech community,” Cambournac said. “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible staff, Board of Directors, and our dedicated members for making this journey so rewarding.”

During her nearly three-year tenure, Cambournac successfully represented the Middle Tennessee tech community on a national stage while also moving organization operations forward. She helped expand NTC’s programming and drove initiatives that enhanced technology education. She championed partnerships that bridged gaps between employers, educators, and the tech community, helping to meet the growing demand for skilled talent in Nashville’s thriving tech sector. Her advocacy on both local and national platforms has further cemented Nashville’s position as a leading technology hub.

“We are incredibly grateful for Elise’s leadership and the positive impact she has had on the NTC and the entire Nashville technology community,” said Casey Santos, current Chair of the NTC Board. “Her dedication and vision have laid a solid foundation for the future. We wish her all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter.”

“Elise has positioned the NTC for continued success, and we are excited to build on her accomplishments,” said Rod McDaniel, incoming Chair of the NTC Board. “We look forward to strengthening our commitment to Nashville’s tech community and advancing innovation throughout the region.”

According to COMPTIA’s CyberStates report, Nashville’s tech industry had the highest national growth rate in 2023, with 2024 on track to continue this trend. Under Cambournac’s leadership, NTC launched new programming, including executive peer groups and hands-on workshops. Key successes include the 2024 Hack for the Community, where 131 volunteers from 46 companies provided $283K in tech support to 12 nonprofits, and the first Nashville Innovation Summit, an expansion of the popular NTC Analytics Summit, which drew over 550 attendees across 160+ organizations.

The NTC Board of Directors will form a committee to begin its search for the new CEO, and the board will work closely with Cambournac to execute a smooth transition. For additional updates in the coming weeks, visit NTC’s website: Technologycouncil.com
