How are your employees finding value in NTC’s membership?
Our Fortinet team in Nashville is growing and expanding and, as a result, we are looking to get connected with current customers and new prospects through our membership in the Nashville Technology Council. We have found that engagement in Peer Groups is one of the greatest benefits of our membership in the NTC. In addition, larger events like Music City Con and the Analytics Summit enable us to share our latest threat intelligence information with IT leaders in Nashville and provide our team an opportunity to network with those leaders throughout the conference to see if our products and services would be a good fit for business issues they are facing.
What are the opportunities you’ve seen elsewhere that you’d like to see more of in Nashville?
Our team would like to see more virtual events, like thought leadership webinars, incorporated into the NTC calendar of events. We have seen member participation with online events in other communities and would be willing to participate in virtual events/webinars with the NTC, too.
What are you most excited about in Nashville?
The positive economic ripple affect Amazon’s sales center (adding 5,000 jobs to Nashville with average $150K salaries) will have on Greater Nashville is one of the things we are most excited about in Nashville. In addition, the Fortinet team we have built (which continues to grow) has a rich history in working and living in the greater Nashville area and is an all-around great group of people. Together, we are building a strong community of Cybersecurity specialists who enjoy solving business issues for our customers. We are very excited to be building a Nashville Forti-Family comprised of employees, Fortinet partners and of course, our customers.
Thanks for helping us to learn more about Fortinet! Don’t forget to say hello to the whole team at the August NashCocktail, hosted at Tech Hill Commons.
