Each Month, the Nashville Technology Council selects one member to be featured as our Member of the Month. This month, our featured member is Gabriela Lira.
After moving to Nashville to be close to family, Gabriela Lira has quickly become the go-to real estate expert for an impressive list of buyers, sellers, and investors. She specializes in helping people find their perfect homes in the area’s most desired neighborhoods, from Nashville’s urban core to elite Williamson County communities.
A Powerful Combination of Education and Experience
Gabriela earned her undergraduate degree from Yale and her MBA from Pepperdine with concentrations in marketing and finance. Prior to her tenure as a licensed real estate agent, she spent 10 years developing business strategies for biotech and pharmaceutical firms. Gabriela is a self-styled data geek with an uncompromising focus on details. She’s methodical, analytical and a tireless negotiator who knows how to make the numbers work for buyers and sellers.
Her success is no accident; Gabriela’s hard work and ability to get results for her clients has led to an impressive amount of repeat business and a steady stream of strong referrals.
Business, Leadership, & Service
Gabriela knows she must stay educated and current while searching for best practices to employ in Nashville’s fast-moving real estate market. Thus far, her efforts have earned her designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), e-PRO, Global agent, and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.
Gabriela’s remarkable success has led her to be recognized as a leading real estate expert in Nashville. As such, she pens a regular real estate column for The Tennessean, in addition to speaking regularly on panels as a subject matter expert.
Gabriela holds leadership roles in several local business and civic organizations. She was a finalist for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leader Award in 2016 and 2017. She won the 2015 RE/MAX community award for her ongoing involvement in Nashville. She serves as a board member for Second Harvest, The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, and the Yale Alumni Association. She was also a finalist for the Nashville Business Journal’s 2014 Women of Influence Award, and spotlighted in the Sunday edition of the Tennessean. Gabriela’s background makes a world of difference; inspired by her single mother’s example, Gabriela learned the value of tenacity at a young age. As a self-funded, first generation college student, Gabriela’s experiences help her relate to people of diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
