InfoSystems Names Leadership of Marketing, Services, and Information Security

Josh Davis to serve as Vice President of Marketing, while Fred Cobb assumes dual roles of Vice President of Services and Chief Information Security Officer.

Chattanooga, Tennessee (June 4, 2019) — InfoSystems, an information technology company celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has named Josh Davis as Vice President of Marketing and William [Fred] Cobb as Vice President of Services and Chief Information Security Officer.

“As we position InfoSystems for continued growth, it made sense to align our leadership team with the needs created by expanded service offerings and added skills on our team,” said Clay Hales, Founder, President & CEO at InfoSystems. “Josh has had quite an impact on our company, successfully enhancing our brand and increasing visibility. And as one of the top cybersecurity professionals in the region for speaking and consulting, Fred is the absolute best candidate to oversee the security and delivery of all of the services we provide to our customers.”

Josh Davis started with InfoSystems in a marketing capacity in 2012 and has steered the company’s public-facing presence and strengthened relationships between InfoSystems’ employees, customers, technology partners, and the communities served. As Vice President of Marketing, Davis will direct the creation of a new InfoSystems division that boosts InfoSystems own presence while also providing marketing services to other technology companies. Davis currently provides marketing leadership within the technology industry by serving on the Chattanooga Technology Council board of directors and on the IBM Global Business Partner Advisory Council marketing committee.

With more than 30 years of IT experience, Fred Cobb joined the InfoSystems team in January 2019 as Vice President of Cloud Services. Cobb’s initial focus was on expanding InfoSystems’ cloud and managed IT services, with emphasis on cybersecurity initiatives, while also helping the team enhance its customer service program. In addition to those operations, Cobb’s purview will now expand as Vice President of Services and Chief Information Security Officer to guide information security, project management, engineering services, and more.

“2019 is proving to be a monumental year for us at InfoSystems,” said Josh Davis, newly minted Vice President of Marketing. “Not only are we celebrating our 25th anniversary, but we’ve added to our technical team which has enhanced the capabilities and value we can offer to our customers. I’m excited to play an important role as we take on the challenges that come with a rapidly growing company, and I know Fred is as well.”
