The Greater Nashville Technology Council recently promoted Emily Bounds to Director of Programs. She was previously the GNTC Community Relations Manager for three years.

In her new role, Emily leads the strategy, development, and execution of GNTC’s programming – connecting members, industry professionals, and the broader Nashville tech community through impactful events and initiatives.

She brings a well-rounded background that maps directly to the work she does at the GNTC. Her experience in event planning spans everything from large-scale community events to intimate professional gatherings. Her community relations background has sharpened her ability to cultivate partnerships, represent organizations publicly, and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.

“As a long-standing member of the GNTC staff, Emily is a talented professional who provides invaluable contributions to our organization,” GNTC CEO Mark Blaze said. “I’m thrilled to see her stepping into a new role, and I anticipate nothing but amazing results from her work.”

Prior to joining the GNTC, Emily spent nearly six years at The Eichholz Law Firm in Savannah, GA, where she served as PR & Community Relations Manager. There, she honed her skills in community outreach, event execution, and partnership development – experience that laid a strong foundation for the work she does today. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

A natural connector, Emily is driven by a genuine love of people and a belief that strong relationships are the foundation of any thriving community.
