from: Local high school seniors to get a jump on future careers in tech with Greater Nashville Technology Council, Bridgestone, and Accenture
Via Bridgestone Americas: Nashville, TENN. (April 11, 2024) – On Wednesday, April 10, a group of 60 high schoolers from throughout the Metro Nashville area and surrounding counties (Gibson County, Holloway, John Overton, Ravenwood, and Renaissance High Schools) had the chance to learn more about careers in IT at the Day of Tech, hosted by Bridgestone, Accenture, and the Greater Nashville Technology Council at the Bridgestone Americas headquarters in downtown Nashville.
The students selected to attend are taking high-level computer science, cyber security, and coding classes with an expressed interest in technology careers. They got to meet and hear from tech executives and professionals, ask questions, and learn about exciting paths to follow in the tech world and get the scoop on the latest tech trends as they see firsthand some of the technologies currently shaping our future, such as virtual reality, cyber security, and more.
