What is the Mission of UTK’s Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration?
Empower scholars to create and achieve career goals by providing comprehensive career education. Through collaboration and innovative practices, the center encourages scholars to:
-Engage in self-discovery

What kinds of services do You Offer?
The Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration strives to foster a career-centered campus culture that prepares all scholars to pursue their unique professional and academic aspirations. We work diligently to serve UTK students and organizations across the state and country by facilitating meaningful connections through job fairs and other on campus & virtual recruiting opportunities.
Why did you decide to join the NTC?
To build connections with industry professionals and organizations that can mutually benefit from connections with UTK students and alumni
What Interesting Stats would you like to share about UTK’s Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration?
We served 71% of undergraduate and 34% of graduate students at the University of Tennessee in the 2020/2021 academic year through events & programming, class presentations, career coaching appointments, and individual Handshake (job & internship database) usage
