Rapid integrations will return data insights from Snowflake’s platform in near real time
Nashville, Tenn. (October 27, 2020) – Bridge Connector, an interoperability company changing the way health care communicates, today announced it has partnered with Snowflake, the Data Cloud, to build fast, efficient integrations between data systems at the point of care and Snowflake’s platform. Bridge Connector will provide the data liquidity needed for health care providers, technology vendors and payers to decrease time spent on implementation and realize the benefits of Snowflake sooner.
Bridge Connector’s suite of vendor-agnostic integration solutions will allow disparate systems, such as electronic health records (EHRs) or patient engagement solutions to more easily send data to Snowflake and receive insights back directly at the point of care. Bridge Connector’s delivery model and technology are designed to make data integrations equitable for organizations of any size and empower care teams with the most accurate patient data in near real time. Unlike other health care interoperability vendors, Bridge Connector’s unique approach does not lock customers into a forced data model or proprietary APIs, instead employing a vendor-agnostic integration layer that works across data models without the need for standardization.
“The lack of interoperability across health care has been a challenge for years, but the COVID-19 pandemic put the spotlight back on the importance of data connectivity in a big way,” said Bridge Connector’s Chief Growth Officer, Andy Harlen. “Our partnership with Snowflake will allow their customers to take full advantage of Snowflake’s highly innovative Data Cloud and improve integration across the continuum of care. With fast and easy data transfers, health care providers can improve the quality of patient care.”
The partnership with Bridge Connector and Snowflake marks a step toward enhancing data capability in health care and will provide health companies one location on Snowflake’s single, integrated platform for structured and semi-structured data, helping to eliminate data silos that have plagued the industry for years. By utilizing rapid integrations from Bridge Connector, health care companies that rely on Snowflake’s platform can realize the value of data insights more quickly than previously possible.
“The ability to securely access and fully mobilize an entire network of data is crucial to delivering high quality patient care,” Snowflake Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences, Todd Crosslin said. “Our partnership with Bridge Connector will allow some of the most influential companies in healthcare to derive business value and enhance patient care through Snowflake’s secure and easy-to-use platform.”
Bridge Connector recently closed $25.5 million in Series B financing that raised the company’s total funding to over $45 million. To learn more about Bridge Connector’s solutions for achieving health care interoperability, please visit https://bridgeconnector.co/.
