Mark Blaze, President and CEO of the Greater Nashville Technology Council (GNTC), was recently featured on On a Mission, a program from Legacy of Leaders TV that highlights leaders making a meaningful impact in their communities.

A major theme of the conversation was the importance of expanding access to technology opportunities.
Blaze emphasized that while talent exists everywhere, access to opportunity does not always follow. Through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and businesses, GNTC works to help bridge that gap by connecting students and professionals to technology education, mentorship, and career pathways.
By strengthening the technology workforce pipeline, these efforts ultimately support both the tech community and the broader regional economy.

Blaze also highlighted programs focused on developing the next generation of technology professionals.
For younger students, GNTC hosts robotics programming at its offices, giving high school students hands-on opportunities to explore technology through mentorship and after-school learning.
For professionals already working in tech, GNTC’s ELITE Program helps early- and mid-career leaders grow their skills, expand their networks, and prepare for future leadership roles in the industry.
