Welcome New NTC Board Chair Elect & New Board Members

The Nashville Technology Council is enhancing its ability to serve the Greater Nashville tech community.
The Board of Directors of the Nashville Technology Council (NTC) at a recent meeting voted Amy Henderson as Chair Elect. In this leadership role she will serve with existing NTC Board Chair Barry Vandevier, Chief Operating Officer, Asurion, before becoming Chair in July 2019.
The NTC Board also elected four new board members to three-year terms and welcomed one new ex-officio member, including:
- Stephanie Johnson, SVP Strategic Resource Group, Stratasan
- Shruti Sharma, Software Engineer, Ingram Content Group
- Nathan Vaughn, Enterprise Account Executive, Red Hat
- Derek Young, President & CEO, YMG Enterprises, LLC
- Eric Thrailkill, President, TN HIMSS and Vice President and CIO at AmSurg Corp. (New ex-officio NTC Board Member)

Last year’s NTC Annual Report has been seen by hundreds of tech leaders across the US, businesses considering relocating to our region, international economic development officials, and policy makers on Capitol Hill and the Tennessee General Assembly – to name a few!
The NTC Annual Report will debut at the NTC Annual Meeting. The report details Middle Tennessee’s rapidly growing tech industry with our jobs report. The report details the work done over the past year by the NTC and its members around professional and workforce development in an effort to establish Nashville as our nations Creative Tech Destination.
The report outlines the many ways members can get more engaged in the Greater Nashville tech community through peer groups, committees, event planning, and community volunteering. Our report will be provided to prospective members over the next year.
