NTC Summer Traveling Tech Days

The NTC is bringing groups of students and teachers to local businesses & college campuses to learn more about careers and education in the field of technology. Over the past year, we’ve sent more than 400 students out into the industry. We’re looking for companies who want to invest in the students who will become tomorrow’s technology talent for Middle Tennessee, as well as their teachers so they can gain a better understanding of the content they are teaching and how it relates back to the industry.

Summer Camp Spotlight: Building Web Applications
|
Throughout the week in our Building Web Applications camp, students will learn to create a simple web application with Ruby on Rails. Campers will learn the basics of Ruby and will build their web application using the programming language.
We Build Tech Code Camps allow students to learn the basics of programming while immersing students in an engaging, real-world environment in which they are challenged to create with code. We are offering seventeen camps in eleven different subjects this year! Camps begin May 30 and go through July 28. Sign up now while there’s still time!

– Adventure Science Center has a special ScienceQuest day camp dedicated to exploring technology! From programming to coding and everything in between, campers will learn how technology is a part our everyday life while discovering what it takes to build a robot on Friday, July 7. – On the second Sunday of every month, join Adventure Science Center for a NEW electronics discovery workshop – Second Sunday Toy Hack! The Nashville Technology Council is excited to announce the Grand Opening of Tech Hill Commons: a public gathering place for Nashville’s diverse community of tech leaders, business builders, user groups, students and tech educators.
Tech Hill Commons houses the NTC’s new offices, two executive conference rooms, a learning center, and an 150 person event space. We invite you to come by for a visit to see and take advantage of this new Nashville tech community space!
