? Nashville's Transit Plan from Tech's Perspective ?
|
Middle Tennessee is growing rapidly and a key ingredient to our future success is a comprehensive transit solution that serves us all. A high percentage of tech industry workers that live in cities with public transit are accustomed to not owning a vehicle. Nashville’s public transit system challenges are a real barrier for hiring tech workers from cities with established systems.
This event will provide a discussion with industry and policy leaders on our region’s transit challenges, what’s currently happening with the state of transportation technology, and how the transit proposal will address the challenges.
Join us for a discussion moderated by Dan Hogan, Executive Chairman at Medalogix, with industry and policy leaders including:
- Steve Bland – Chief Executive Officer, Nashville MTA
- Corey Ershow – Transportation Policy Manager, Lyft
- Erin Hafkenschiel – Director, Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Sustainability
- Tommy Lewis – Senior Vice President, Change Healthcare
- Hon. Nancy VanReece – District 8 Council Member, Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County
Join us for a Nashville transit discussion on December 19 @ 9am at Tech Hill Commons ›
