Calling All Educators & Volunteers for an Hour of Code 2018
Join us the week of December 3 – 9, 2018
The Nashville Technology Council will be partnering Davidson, Rutherford, and Williamson County schools with local technology professionals during Computer Science Week. Last year, over 2200 students across Davidson and Williamson counties participated in the global movement Hour of Code, where teachers implemented one hour of coding activities in their classrooms.
We’re bringing Educators & Volunteers together on Nov. 27 at Tech Hill Common to connect and talk about ideas for implementing the hour of code in their classroom. It is highly recommended to attend as it serves as a good time for volunteers and educators to get to know each other better and gain ideas from others about activities for the classroom. We need educators who have 1 hour of classroom time to engage students in learning a new technology and volunteers passionate about computer science!
