April 30 - Taking Data to the Edge in this Era of COVID-19
We all know that data is quickly becoming the new corporate currency. It has become critical to doing business today. However, data in raw form has little value. It needs to be manipulated and analyzed to truly be valued and consumed. The proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) into our daily lives is driving a profound change in the way computing workloads are deployed. Add to that the advent of 5G and the dramatic rise in mobile device usage, and it’s easy to see why many organizations are shifting their compute and data to the geographical edge of their enterprises where they can deploy as close as possible to end users and devices.

May 5 - Ensuring Business Continuity
Business continuity is about harnessing the power of People, Process and Technology. During times of global crisis, be they market-related, or more critically, health and human condition related, this harnessing requires partnering with a technology company built around a formal process to address circumstances such as we are facing today with COVID-19. This session will examine business continuity best practices for businesses of all sizes, including large enterprises and locally-owned operations, as it relates to data center process during times of extreme uncertainty and global crisis, including:
-Pre-planning for the unknown through Risk Mitigation
-Living document(s) to outline: who, what, and how, to handle a crisis
-Interdependencies within the IT environment – ensuring they are understood before a catastrophe happens
-Identifying Critical IT: tiering model (Tier 0: most critical – Tier 4: least critical)
-Geographically dispersed resources
