Vanderbilt Biomedical Informatics Summer Program (VBISP): Summer research opportunities are available for: high school students, community college students, undergraduate students, and graduate students. PrivacySafe: Social Media Intern

The Tennessee Advanced Energy Business Council will be hosting its Annual Meeting at Schneider Electric’s Nashville Hub in Franklin, Tennessee on Thursday, March 5, 2020 beginning at 1 PM CST.

The meeting will focus heavily on electric vehicles and the state’s efforts to increase adoption, as well as their role in our future. TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe will share his priorities for the department and how the electric vehicle industry fits into Tennessee’s economy. Also TDEC Commissioner David Salyers will present an update on the Drive Electric Tennessee initiative and how the state is moving swiftly to increase charging infrastructure availability. There will be time reserved afterwards for Audience Q&A to ask the commissioners questions regarding this world-changing technology.

Call for Judges for the Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair!

The 2020 Middle Tennessee Science and Engineering Fair (MTSEF) will be held on March 27-28 at Belmont University (Jane Ayers Academic Center, 4th Floor). Please consider serving as a MTSEF judge and making a difference in lives of our young students. Many people have said that one of the most significant experiences in their youth was their interaction with a science fair judge. We are expecting over 100 projects.

Project judging will take place on Friday, March 27th between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Free parking is available, and dinner will be provided for judges on Friday evening. Grand Prize judging will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Sat., March 28th.

MTSEF is the ISEF-affiliated regional fair that encompasses 24 counties in Middle Tennessee.The fair is sponsored by the MTSEF Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization funded entirely by public donations. Please consider joining us in making an individual or corporate donation today!
