Nashville, TN – Greg Taylor, CEO and President of Sertainty Corporation, is proud to announce an addition to their prestigious Advisory Board, General Lawrence Wayne Brock III.

“First, we thank General Wayne Brock for 36 years of active military service to our great Country in the United States Army and we welcome Wayne to our Advisory Board as an active member,” says Greg Taylor. “As a result of Wayne’s command covering all facets of Army communications, he has relationships with many of the military branches R&D centers, where we anticipate running pilot programs to evaluate our data:empowered technology.”

General Wayne Brock retired from the US Army in August of 2016 after 36 years of military service. His most recent assignment was Commanding General of the 311th Signal Command (Theater) from 2014-2016. His command covered all facets of Army communications within the Pacific Region, comprised of the 1st and 516th Signal Brigades, while also serving as the US Army Pacific (USARPAC) Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6.

In addition to his Pacific Command, much of MG(R) Brock’s career was spent serving in command billets to include Commanding General of the 335th Signal Command (Theater), East Point, GA, responsible for executing the command’s dual mission: providing critical chemical, communications and information services in support of forces in Southwest Asia, as well as Homeland Defense operations as directed by the U.S. Army Reserve Command. He was Commanding General of the 335th Signal Forward (Kuwait), supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn while dual hatted as the US Army Central Command (ARCENT) G6. Additional General Officer level commands were the 359th Signal Command at Ft Gordon GA. MG(R) Brock also served overseas as Director of Communications CJ6, Headquarters, Combined Forces Command-Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom and Director of Signal Integration, ACSE-A, Operation Enduring Freedom and ARCENT Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6.

“With the ever-present cyber threat to our transmission systems and the increasing sophistication of our adversaries, it has become increasingly more important to protect our data itself. Past dependence upon one path for critical information to flow opens our data to threats. The Sertainty approach revolutionizes how we treat our most sensitive communications,” says Brock. “Encrypting the files themselves versus the transmission path opens every means available to deliver critical information, making it extremely difficult for adversaries to disrupt. Sertainty is a real game changer and precisely why I am honored to be a part of this revolutionary technology.”

The addition of General Wayne Brock reflects the company’s ability to attract talent with federal government experience. Scott Pranger, Sertainty VP of Sales, and Jeff Snyder, also an active Sertainty Advisory Board Member, will be working closely with Brock developing military and government opportunities for the Sertainty Technology Platform.

“Major General Brock is a wonderful addition to the Sertainty team and his proven track record exemplifies what he can contribute to this great growing company,” says Snyder. “I look forward to working closely with him to accelerate Sertainty’s growth in key Federal and Government markets. Data is the next endpoint…Data is the next perimeter…and Sertainty accomplishes this in wonderful fashion.”
