Nashville Hosts CCA’s Mobile Carriers Show — April 12-15

The Competitive Carriers Association is bringing the Mobile Carriers Show (MCS) to Music City Center, April 12 through 15. It’s a great opportunity for the Middle Tennessee technology community to promote their products and services, and connect with and learn from industry leaders.

We spoke with Cheryl Delgreco who heads up media strategies for the MCS to learn more about the event.

Q: Who is Competitive Carriers Association?

Q: Who are some of CCA’s carrier or associate members in Middle Tennessee?

CCA carrier members that serve Middle Tennessee include Bluegrass Cellular, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, MobileNation, and DTC Wireless dba Advantage Cellular.  T-Mobile also has a customer service call center located in Nashville.

Associate members who have businesses in the area include: Crown Castle, Equinox Information Systems, International Tower Lighting, Flash Technology/SPX, and Electronics Renewal, among others.

Q: Nashville is excited to host CCA’s Mobile Carriers Show (MCS) at Music City Center, April 12-15. Who is this event for?

MCS will provide a venue for technology vendors, infrastructure and backhaul providers, handset manufacturers, device and app developers and many others focused on mobility to reach the dynamic market of North American competitive carriers who spend over $15 billion annually on products and services related to the wireless industry.

Q: Mobile Carriers Show also has an extensive agenda of programming, with discussions from tech experts and service providers, including a big focus on Internet of Things (IoT). What should an attendee expect?

Mobile Carriers Show is all about facilitating business relationships, innovation, competition, and growth in the competitive wireless carrier market.  We’ve assembled some of the leading thinkers in the industry – from the FCC, carriers, and technology companies – to share best practices and provide actionable intelligence on today’s most pressing business, technical and policy issues.

The exhibit floor will feature the latest services and technologies from software companies, infrastructure providers and developers who want to sell to the largest group of carriers in North America.

The MCS conference program includes a new IoT track that will explore revenue opportunities and network support for the proliferation of devices and increased traffic levels. Additional tracks include sessions focused on Business Development, Marketing/Customer Service, Policy and Technical topics. MCS also will feature partner seminars focused on MVNO opportunities and customer experience management, among others.
